Beyond Belfast

Few authors make me smile. Fewer authors make me laugh. Will Fergusons are few and far between. The Canadian (Calgarian) has kept me captivated since I picked up 'I Was a Teenage Katima-Victim'. Through to this book 'Beyond Belfast' there is a keen ear for the eye.
Ferguson writes like a narrator should (think Stephen Leacock (and yes Ferguson has won that humour award (for obvious reasons)). You join him on his epic journey (walking through the endless bogs, and meeting a calvalcade of characters that put Northern Ireland in perspective).
If you don't like the book, shame on you and your shallow sense of enjoyment.
