Vern Koop

Vern has been doing the Morning News on CHQR for more than 32 years. He enjoys the early mornings and the challenges of bringing Calgarians the very latest in local, national, and international news.

Avoiding the Rush hours is also a benefit of this shift - sharing the early morning roads with only the cops and the cabbies makes that drive a lot easier. It's fun coming to work every day and to help Calgarians begin their day fully informed.
