Calgary's cash-strapped Silver Dollar Casino will continue to operate for the near future.
Grant Thornton Limited has been appointed the receiver and manager of the popular southeast casino, after owner Evergreen Gaming filed for protection from its creditors in April.
In a release, Grant Thornton says it will continue to run the Silver Dollar - and keep all the current employees on staff - for the "foreseeable future".
