Calgary linebacker Dwaine Carpenter has earned the defensive CFL player of the week award, recovering two fumbles and scoring a touchdown in the Stampeders' 44-9 win over Toronto.
Calgary's Malik Jackson was also considered for the award.
Quarterback Jarious Jackson, who filled in for the injured Buck Pierce to lead the B.C. Lions to a 40-22 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos, earned CFL offensive player of the week honours.
Hamilton kicker Nick Setta was named the top special teams player, after making three of four field goal attempts in the Tiger-Cats' 25-13 victory over Winnipeg.
