Premier Ed Stelmach says bringing down trade barriers between provinces and improving relations with the U.S. will be his main focus when the First Ministers meet in Regina next week.
The current economic climate will be at the top of the list when the premiers meet. Premier Ed Stelmach says it's important trade barriers between provinces come down to spur economic activity and he also wants to remind premiers about the importance of maintaining good relations with the U.S.
"Even though there's some differences in opinion in some of our trade issues, let's also concentrate on the positive and that's the amount of trade and that's the amount of trade over a billion-and-a-half a day."
Still with it, Stelmach says it's also important to look at expanding markets beyond the U.S. to Asia and Europe.
