Calgary City Council has opted to study a request by Alderman John Mar that the City come up with more cash for Meals on Wheels.
Mar is hoping the City will provide the funding needed for the group to renovate a new building it has purchased.
The issue will come back to Council November 30th.
Council also opted to study Alderman Diane Colley-Urquhart's motion to have tow trucks on standby on major routes during rush hour.
The cost and logistics will be looked at in a report going back to City Hall in January.
