The Calgary Humane Society is asking for help finding the person responsible for leaving a badly injured Doberman puppy in the parking lot of the Calgary North Veterinary Clinic Wednesday morning.
Staff found the three month old pup inside a bloody kennel that had been left in the parking lot.
The pup was suffering from a head injuries and a badly broken front leg, and had been so neglected that it was unresponsive.
The humane society says if the pup pulls through the next twenty four hours, it will need surgery to mend the leg, and extensive care and rehabilitation.
Anyone who saw the pup being dumped in the clinic parking lot, or have information that can lead to the dog's owners, is asked to contact the humane society.
