Officials with Alberta Health Services are promising better line managment and a more effective system when the vaccination clinics resume on Thursday morning for children under five years of age.
The free-for-all that wreaked havoc with last week's vaccination clinics will be replaced with a lot more order and efficiency, at least that's the hope anyway.
"We have to very strict now," said Dr. Judy MacDonald, Deputy Medical Officer of Health for the Calgary region.
There will be a lot more signage and a screening stations to get more information.
MacDonald says in some cases a parent will be advised of a certain time for shots for a certain age group and can return with more certainty.
"If you're unwell with a new cough and fever or sore throat, or show symptoms of influenza, please don't come for vaccine," MacDdonald added.
Parents also have to bring a birth certificate to prove their child's age.
H1N1 shots will continue to be made available for this age group on Friday, as well as pregnant women.
