An Alberta man has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting death of a northern R-C-M-P officer.
Emrah Bulatci hung his head and the officer's widow cried this morniong when a jury in Yellowknife brought back the verdict.
Constable Christopher Worden was responding to a call in Hay River, Northwest Territories when he was shot four times in October 2007.
Bulatci testified that he never meant to kill the Mountie and that two fatal shots were accidental as the pair struggled on the ground for control of Bulatci's gun.
