A police pursuit in Central Alberta has left two people dead.
It happened on Highway 16 just East of the Jasper park gates just after 5:00 Thursday evening.
A minivan being pursued by police slammed head on into a pickup truck near Hinton.
Both vehicles burst into flames and both drivers were killed.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is now investigating.
