About a dozen people calling for more action on climate change from the Canadian government occupied federal Environment Minister Jim Prentice's Calgary office on Monday.
The protesters took over at 10 a.m.
Some stood outside Prentice's office carrying a large banner and others were seated in the waiting area inside the office.
The signs say say "Canada Needs Climate Justice" and "Canada Stand Up."
Group spokesman David Wilson explains why they're protesting.
"We've written letters to Minister Prentice, made phone calls, we've voted, we've held rallies, and they've produced little or no results."
Prentice's staff have welcomed the group and even offered them coffee, which was declined.
