The Calgary man accused of killing a forty three year old woman and injuring two others in a hit and run in April 2008 has pleaded guilty to several charges and will be sentenced next year.
Darren Paul Coupal pleaded guilty to impaired driving causing death, two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two other charges.
He admitted to drinking at a local pub before gettting behind the wheel and crashing into Linda Davies, her wheelchair-bound teenaged son and their family friend near their Bridlewood home.
Davies was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crown Prosecutor Paul Mason says the victims are working on impact statements for Coupal's sentencing hearing next February.
Coupal is free on bail until his next court date.
