Another animal has died at the Calgary Zoo.
Management confirms an 18 month old female Capybara died Saturday and human error may be to blame.
The individual involved has been reassigned to non animal care duties.
A zoo spokesperson says the male Capybara was unharmed, and the spider monkeys in the exhibit are also uninjured.
The Capybaras, believed to be the largest rodent in the world, arrived at the Zoo in August of this year.
They are commonly found throughout Central and South America.
