Man responsible for Calgary woman's death allowed early day parole

Samrat Dhuna has been granted day parole after serving a third of his prison sentence.
Dhuna was found guilty of manslaughter after he drove his van into a group of people outside a bar in Kensington on New Year's day 2006.
24 year old Raminder Dadda was killed, and 2 others were seriously injured.
Dhuna will be staying at a halfway house in Abbotsford B.C.
He's apparently already lined up a day job, but will have to stay at the halfway house during the evening hours.
If Dhuna meets all requirments, he will be eligible for full parole in 6 months.
