Gas leak at City plant
_QR77 Newsroom
3/5/2010

A small chlorine leak forced the evacuation of 75 people from the City's Bonnybrook waste treatment plant Thursday morning.
Firefighters donned fully-encapsulated hazmat suits, and a team entered the building to evaluate and quickly shut down the leak.
However, it took several hours afterward to ventilate the remaining chlorine from the building.
After the building was deemed free of chlorine, it was turned over to the Bonnybrook staff to determine what caused the leak.
No injuries were reported.
