Deadly weekend on Alberta highways
_QR77 Newsroom

Three people are dead after three separate highway collisions in Alberta Sunday.
A man was killed on Highway 2 south of Calgary around 4pm.
RCMP say just north of the High River overpass, a red 2002 GMC truck suddenly veered to the right ditch and rolled over into a field.
The male driver -- who was wearing his seatbelt -- was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Mounties believe speed and alcohol were not factors and say the investigation is still ongoing.
Earlier, northwest of Edmonton, two people died in morning crashes -- one of them a highway maintenance worker who was directing traffic around an initial crash.
Stoney Plain RCMP say the first happened at an intersection on Highway 44 when a semi collided with a pickup truck about 30 kilometres northwest of the city.
The driver of the pickup was killed and the vehicle was badly burned.
The second happened along the same highway when a male maintenance worker was hit by a pickup truck.
Police say it was quite foggy at the time of both collisions and haven't said if any charges will be laid.
The names of the two victims have not been released, but Mounties say the worker was with Carillion Canada, a Toronto-based highway maintenance company.
