A 33 year old man who faced 18 charges in connection with an arson fire in citadel has been sentenced. Russel McDougal was sentenced in court today to 7 years and 45 days.He has spent the last 10 months in the Remand Centre. The fire destroyed five homes in the northwest community of Citadel last December. Police say the fire was started by a marijuana grow-op. They add McDougal callously fled the scene and didn't call 9-1-1 or alert neighbours. The fire caused nearly 4 million dollars in damage and destroyed five homes.
