Bylaw officers, along with police, will be out in full force in Calgary this weekend.
Besides warning pet owners to be extremely careful and not leave pets in vehicles, bylaw boss 'Bill Bruce' tells QR77 news, there are a number other things bylaw officers will be looking for. He says first and foremost they'll be out on Calgary pathways watching for speeding bicyclists and pedestrians not yielding the right of way. He says mostly officers will be looking for people using 'common sense.' He also says it's important if you're a pet owner, to keep the family pet on a leash.
