To be honest I was scared when the Calgary Stampeders decided to sign Dave Dickenson as thier backup quarterback to Henry Burris. Not because he is not a qualified pivot but because of his history of concussions. I like Dickenson as a person and I consider him a good friend but I was afraid for his life, his health and his future.
As this season developed I became more and more secure in the thought that the Stamps had made the right move, they had backed up starter Henry Burris with a guy that could move in if necessary but it was not going to be necessary that often. No worries.

The Stamps reception was a non issue as it was a non reviewable play and as Hufnagel told us on Wednesday night on sportstalk he was right beside the official who made the call. As far as challenging the fumble by Curry, Hufnagel told us that he talked to the coaches up in the booth and the feeling was the official had made the right call so it would have been a waste of a challenge.
If you want to understand the Instant Replay Manual in the CFL, I suggest you go on line to CFL.ca. It's not excatly in layman terms but it will give you a ...
